Wake Up and Flow
with David Vaughn
Set the pace for your day with this early morning vinyasa flow class. This moderately paced class is suitable for all levels and will allow you to wake up your body and your mind with building internal heat and strength. Move into your day in a grounded and spacious frame of body & mind.
9 a.m.
A Body Prayer for New Beginnings
with Diane Murphy
A mindful movement class that will include an opportunity to set a prayerful intention for a blessed NEW BEGINNING for Riverbend Yoga Studio. You can expect an accessible gentle yoga flow with attention to breath, a beautifully curated inspirational playlist, and a circle meditation/visualization geared to help create, grow and sustain a compassionate, welcoming and loving space for the community.

Fall Balance
with Delaney Fillinger
A practice designed to balance Vata energy during this seasonal change. Focused on slower, deliberate movements, deep stretching and mindful breathwork to cultivate stability and warmth within. Using asana, calming pranayama and relaxation to center and connect you as you move into autumn. Embrace the rhythms of nature and support your well-being.

Pranayama and Meditation to uplift mood and energy
with Brett Aldrich and Jamie Worster
Join Ayurevdic practitioner Brett Aldrich and Meditation teacher Jamie Worster for a combined 45 minute journey designed to use pranayama and guided meditation to help you feel calm and energized. This dynamic Duo will team up to offer you an unforgettable experience.

with Randy Billmeier
Randy will share a collection of favorite songs with harmonium and drum accompaniment. Some will be call-and-response Kirtan style, and others will be devotional chants honoring this gift of life we all share. Feel free to sing along or listen; bring your drum, rattles, and shakers if desired!

Flow Into Yin
with Aleksandra Townshend
Join Aleksandra for a 45-minute gentle flow yoga class combining flow and rhythmic movement yoga with a goal of opening the body and our joints which will flow into longer and more sustained holds of poses that focus on stretching fascia and connective tissues. Plenty of modifications offered to meet all levels of experience.

Neutral Zone Yoga
with DD Swan
Yoga can be really chill to really hot. This practice will play in the zone in between. Join DD for joint churnings to free the flow of life force in the joints, reduce tension in the internal organs, and cultivate a mind-set conducive to your developing yoga practice. We will also incorporate balance into your daily life, and conclude with a guided relaxation journey for your body, mind and spirit.

Restorative Yoga and Sound Bath
with Susan Golden and Heather Zachau
Are you looking for a yoga practice that is relaxing, and will allow you to feel refreshed and recovered from your busy life and the stresses that go along with it? If so, join Susan for a 45-minute restorative yoga class that will guide your breath, mind and physical body in a way that will melt your worries and struggles away at least for your time on the mat. Just bring your mat and all of the props needed will be ready for you at the studio. Heather will add the healing sounds of crystal and metal bowls, chimes and other instruments to enhance your restorative experience.

Community Kirtan with Shanti*

Come join Riverbend’s beloved yoga teacher Marni Prince along with the talented Todd Glacy, Helena Nash and Jason Prince in the healing power of community kirtan. Kirtan is a practice of community singing that helps focus the mind, open the heart and cultivate inner peace. We will sing inspiring mantras accompanied by live instruments in a call and response format. Immerse yourself in the universal energy of sound that contains a powerful healing vibration.
